Meet Jamie Lee Scott

I write P.I. mysteries, police procedurals, and now quirky cozy mysteries and southern gothic (light). Stories filled with nosy sleuths, mischievous ghosts, and small towns where the murder rate is alarmingly high—but, you know, in a fun way. When I’m not plotting fictional crimes, I’m sipping enough coffee to keep a detective awake for three stakeouts, hoarding more books than one human could possibly read, and engaging in daily debates with my herding dogs. Black Cat thinks he’s the inspiration behind my writing. I haven’t told him it’s the conversations between the dogs that give me story ideas.
